Regarding exhibition layout - look at using different sizes, spacing, and formats of print for the exhibition, as Rinko Kawauchi does in her exhibition 'Aila'.


The quieter images work better than the ones with a lot going on. Eg this one:

has a lot of information in it when the focus ought to be on the reflection. It doesn't suggest quiet or calm. A potentially busy image that has been put purposely out of focus becomes quieter:

It's a good idea to print out little wallet size prints of a large edit of what I may want to use in the exhibition, then use them to cut down the edit to a final selection, as well as work out how I want them to be arranged.
